Chi Omega and the Make A Wish Foundation
Chi Omegas all over the world are dedicated to Community Service. In fact, it is one of our six purposes. Chi Omega made the Make A Wish Foundation their national philanthropy in 2002. Since then Chi Omega has raised over $6.5 million and contributed more than 400,000 volunteer hours.
Each year Kappa Alpha members work to benefit the foundation through unique fundraisers. Last fall Kappa Alpha held its second annual Chi O Cocoa and Caroling fundraiser. Cocoa and Caroling consists of a temporary drive-thru at the sorority house. Donors will drive up one side of the driveway and order their cocoa and cookies then pull around back where they will receive their goodies and a holiday tune. All proceeds went to the Make A Wish Foundation.
